President & Founder

Exonerated in 2014 after serving 24 years, 7 months and 20 days of false imprisonment, Jonathan Fleming launched the Jonathan Fleming Foundation.

Fleming is determined to share his story and cause with the world through music, books, film and television. He has taken to the road sharing his story and mission in hopes of garnering support for the wrongfully convicted after their release from prison. Jonathan speaks at schools, prisons and events.

Jonathan resolves that the time he spent in prison was not for him but, it was so that he would become a spokesperson for the wrongfully convicted and a resource in helping them gather the pieces of their lives and rebuild a foundation for their future.

The Jonathan Fleming Foundation was inspired by Mr. Fleming's personal experience of being released on 4/8/14 with only $93.00 and no resources to help him navigate through an unfamiliar world and rebuild a life for himself. Mr. Fleming believes that meeting returning citizens where they are is the key to keeping them from returning to prison. This is our mission.
